About Us

BowLink Outdoors started the way many great hunting ideas do, not in a boardroom, but in the middle of a hunt.

My name is Kevin Link, and I’ve been passionate about archery since I was around 10 years old. By profession, I’ve spent 37 years as a paramedic. Outside of work, my life has always been centered around family and the outdoors.

My wife Amber and I have five children, two of whom live with disabilities. Our family has taught us patience, resilience, and the importance of making every moment count. Amber has always supported my passion for archery, and over the years, our family has spent countless hours together on our acreage shooting bows and enjoying the outdoors.

Two years ago, Amber decided to take it a step further and start hunting with me, making our time together even more meaningful.

The Beginning of BowLink

About 15 years ago, I built the very first version of what would become the BowLink Tree Seat in my garage.

At the time, I had no intention of ever selling it. I simply wanted a better way to hunt, something lightweight, quiet, and versatile that would allow me to hunt trees traditional stands couldn’t.

I often describe BowLink as offering the comfort of a stand with the freedom of a saddle. Interestingly, when I first built it, I didn’t even know what a saddle was, I just knew I needed more flexibility to hunt smaller trees where I was seeing great deer activity.

Refined Over Time

I used that original seat for 13 years, continuously refining it through real hunting experience.

Friends began noticing it and kept telling me:
“You need to sell these.”

With their encouragement, and with Amber’s input and ideas, I spent years improving the design, focusing on comfort, strength, and safety, until it became what it is today.

Today

The BowLink Tree Seat is proudly built in Alberta, for hunters everywhere.

This isn’t a corporate invention.
It’s the result of years in the field by people who simply wanted a better way to hunt.
